California Timekeeping Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Timekeeping Specialist to oversee timekeeping operations for approximately 1,800 employees across multiple retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and audit timekeeping records for multi-state retail locations
• Perform detailed pre- and post-payroll audits to ensure wage and hour compliance
• Maintain advanced knowledge of complex wage and hour laws and ensure adherence to compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive timekeeping experience
• 3+ years supporting multi-state operations in complex wage & hour environments
• Demonstrated experience with high-regulation states such as California
• Advanced knowledge of multi-state paid sick leave laws and overtime regulations
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and reconciliations
