California Union Contract Specialist

Job Summary

Managing collective bargaining agreements and payroll systems, the full-time California Union Contract Specialist will ensure accurate payroll setup for union employees, handle compliance auditing, and maintain data integrity while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and business operations to resolve employee pay issues and configure system updates during contract negotiations
• Translate complex collective bargaining agreements into rate tables and ensure compliance through auditing and data maintenance
• Coordinate implementation of union contract updates across payroll and related systems while leading audits and supporting compliance initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in payroll, union administration, human resources, or a related field required
• 3+ years of union payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Deep knowledge of multi-local union rules and deduction structures
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• FPC or CPP certification preferred
