California Vice President of Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Development to lead its fundraising strategy and philanthropic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with the agency's mission
• Oversee all development functions, including major gifts, planned giving, and donor stewardship
• Lead and mentor a high-performing fundraising team to meet or exceed annual goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or CFRE preferred
• 10+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including 5 years in senior leadership
• Proven track record in major gift fundraising and campaign management
• Experience collaborating with executives and board members
• At least 21 years of age and clearance for TB testing and fingerprinting
