California Water Resource Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a California Water Resource Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects to achieve water resource strategy goals, collaborating with staff and partners
• Provide technical expertise on regenerative agricultural projects and assist farmers with conservation practices
• Analyze conservation practice data to evaluate progress and support policy initiatives related to water management

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience or a graduate degree with 2 years of experience in relevant fields
• Previous experience or willingness to learn about agricultural conservation planning and implementation
• Interest in developing partnerships with various stakeholders in agriculture and environmental sectors
• Familiarity with environmental outcomes quantification tools and methodologies is preferred
• Direct professional experience working with farmers and agricultural organizations is strongly preferred
