Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster II responsible for managing workers' compensation claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage initial contacts to gather information, verify coverage, and develop action plans for claims
• Analyze case facts to establish reserves and evaluate benefits in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate medical treatment and collaborate with defense attorneys to mitigate legal exposure

Required Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years of workers' compensation claims adjusting or insurance experience
• Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and claim management procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
• State certification or license may be required, with preferred certifications including WCCP, AIC, ARM, or CPCU
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and decision-making skills
