Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, including initial contacts, coverage verification, and developing action plans
  • Analyze case facts to establish reserves and provide customer service while ensuring compliance with laws and procedures
  • Coordinate medical treatment, review legal exposures, and collaborate with attorneys to mitigate litigation risks
Required Qualifications
  • 2 - 5 years of workers' compensation claims adjusting or insurance experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation laws and claim management procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Certification may be required; preferred certifications include WCCP, AIC, ARM, or CPCU
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical and decision-making skills
