Job Summary
A company is looking for a Temporary Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster III.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned claim files, including performing three-point contact on new losses and documenting relevant facts
- Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return to work and reduce extended disability payments
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutes and company guidelines while managing litigation processes and reviewing vocational rehabilitation plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- At least seven years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of five years experience managing indemnity cases, particularly those with complex issues
- Possession of an SIP certificate
- Working knowledge of the Labor Code of the State of California related to workers' compensation claims
