California Workers' Compensation Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of California Workers' Compensation claims, the full-time remote Claims Adjuster II will handle moderate to complex medical and indemnity cases, establish reserves, and coordinate medical treatment while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of California WC claims from initial contact through closure, including litigation cases
• Establish accurate reserves and develop action plans while evaluating compensability
• Coordinate medical treatment and work with defense counsel to proactively resolve claims

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of California Workers' Compensation claims experience
• Strong knowledge of California WC law, statutes, and claim procedures
• Ability to work Pacific hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PDT
• CA adjuster license or ability to obtain within the state-mandated timeframe
• Self-directed and organized, with experience managing a full caseload remotely
