Seeking an experienced California Workers' Compensation Adjuster, the full-time remote position will manage a caseload of loss time claims, determine compensability, and negotiate settlements while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Determine compensability and coverage issues for loss time workers' compensation claims
- Effectively manage a caseload of loss time claims from multiple jurisdictions
- Negotiate and direct settlements under management's review while coordinating with claimants and other parties
Required qualifications
- Claims Adjuster Designation or SIP Certification required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience handling claims in California
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with lost time or litigated claims preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential
