Job Summary

Managing moderate to complex high-value casualty claims, the full-time Senior California Workers Compensation Adjuster will work remotely to ensure thorough claim evaluation, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective dispute resolution while collaborating with internal and external experts.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage high-value casualty claims, leading investigations and issuing necessary documentation
• Proactively resolve disputes and pursue subrogation opportunities through strategic negotiation and litigation management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards while maintaining accurate records and preparing comprehensive reports

Required qualifications

• Advanced investigative and negotiation skills
• Experience in managing complex casualty claims
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to set reserves and authorize payments
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in California workers' compensation
• Ability to mentor junior claim handlers and contribute to training initiatives
