Job Summary
Overseeing multiple teams of examiners and technical staff, the full-time California Workers Compensation Claims Lead will manage workloads, provide training, and offer technical guidance on claims adjudication, with the option to work remotely from California.
Key responsibilities
- Supervises teams, delegates duties, and ensures compliance with licensing and documentation standards
- Provides technical guidance on claims adjudication, including quality reviews and evaluations for complex claims
- Acts as a second-level appeal authority for client and claimant issues, implementing final decisions
Required qualifications
- 6 years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
- Experience with SIP and California Workers Compensation claims handling required
