Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full caseload of California workers' compensation claims from intake through closure
  • Evaluate claim compensability, liability, and benefits in accordance with CA laws and regulations
  • Conduct thorough investigations including gathering statements, medical records, and employer documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of California Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience
  • Active SIP (Self-Insurance Plans) Certification - California (Required)
  • Strong knowledge of California WC laws, disability ratings, and benefit structures
  • Experience with claims investigation, litigation management, and settlements
