California Workers Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing California workers compensation claims, the full-time Claims Examiner Workers Compensation I will adjudicate complex customer claims remotely while ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure and processing claims to resolution
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of California workers compensation regulations
