California Workers Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned California Workers Compensation Examiner, the full-time remote position will analyze and adjudicate complex workers compensation claims while ensuring compliance with service expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to achieve timely resolutions through effective investigation and information gathering
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority limits
• Communicating claim activities and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• California workers compensation jurisdictional knowledge required
• SIP certification required or must be obtained within one year of employment
