California Workers' Compensation Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time California Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner will negotiate settlements, communicate claim activities, and ensure timely resolutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to determine exposure and develop action plans for resolution
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of California workers' compensation claims experience
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
