Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced in California workers' compensation collections, the full-time Workers' Compensation Lien Specialist will manage a caseload of lien files, communicate with various stakeholders, and maximize reimbursements for psychological services through the California Workers' Compensation system, both remotely and onsite in Santa Ana, CA.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of California workers' compensation lien files from initial billing through resolution
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and hearing representatives to facilitate collections
- Prepare demand letters, settlement proposals, and documentation for conferences and hearings
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of California Workers' Compensation collections experience preferred
- Experience filing and managing WCAB liens
- Working knowledge of California workers' compensation regulations
- Familiarity with EAMS and the WCAB process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
