California Workers Compensation Trainee

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time California Workers Compensation Trainee will engage in a 6-month paid, fully remote program focused on claims management, client service, and hands-on training in a simulated environment while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in structured learning through instructor-led sessions, online modules, and job shadowing
• Gradually take ownership of indemnity claims, applying training to real-world scenarios under supervision
• Engage in professional communication with clients and stakeholders to support empathetic claims handling

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 4-year degree from an accredited institution preferred
• 3.5 GPA or higher preferred; other candidates with proven experience may be considered
• Familiarity with M365 products (e.g., Outlook, Word, basic Excel and PPT)
• Active listening skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Adaptability to changes in procedures and technology
