Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist (Call Center) for a full-time position in an Engagement Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer a high volume of calls and schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites
- Gather and input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system
- Assist callers, navigate them to appropriate resources, and report complex clinical issues
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of healthcare patient service experience
- 1 year of experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Experience using an EMR and scheduling software
- Strong communication skills over the phone
- Minimum internet speed of 20mbps download and 6mbps upload
