Job Summary
A company is looking for a Call Center Scheduler to manage incoming calls and schedule appointments for various clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and greet patients over the phone while scheduling appointments
- Document demographic, insurance, and eligibility information in the Vision system
- Verify insurance pre-certification requirements and initiate the referral process
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate with vocational training or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a call center or centralized scheduling environment
- Knowledge of general medical terminology and managed care functions
- Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and MS Office
