Job Summary

A company is looking for a Call Center Scheduler to manage incoming calls and schedule appointments for various clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and greet patients over the phone while scheduling appointments
  • Document demographic, insurance, and eligibility information in the Vision system
  • Verify insurance pre-certification requirements and initiate the referral process
Required Qualifications
  • High School graduate with vocational training or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center or centralized scheduling environment
  • Knowledge of general medical terminology and managed care functions
  • Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and MS Office
