Job Summary
Responsible for scheduling, cancelling, and registering outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics, the full-time remote Call Center Scheduler will collect necessary information and ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Obtain and verify patient guarantor information annually to maintain up-to-date records
- Schedule and register patients based on medical appropriateness and clinic guidelines
- Respond to patient and staff needs, managing scheduling changes and complaints as necessary
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- State criminal background check and Federal background check (if applicable)
- Experience in a scheduling or administrative role preferred
- Ability to work in a standard office environment and sit for extended periods
- Familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling software is a plus
