Cambodian Interpreter

Job Summary

To support effective communication, the remote Cambodian Interpreter will provide Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services, ensuring accurate and impartial interpretation while adhering to ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate communication by interpreting everything said without alteration
• Maintain impartiality and avoid bias while interpreting for all parties involved
• Continuously improve interpreting skills and provide excellent customer service to clients and end-users

Required qualifications

• Absolute fluency in English and Cambodian
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential interpretation duties effectively
• Capability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Experience presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
