Canada Compliance Lead
Job Summary
Supporting an external software development organization, the full-time remote Canada Compliance Lead will help establish governance, risk, and compliance practices for an enterprise AI platform, focusing on SOC 2 and ISO readiness, audit preparation, and compliance documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Define, operate, and mature a compliance program for a multi-tenant enterprise platform
- Prepare customer-facing security documentation and support audit readiness and compliance assessments
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement practical and automation-friendly compliance controls
Required qualifications
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
- Ability to define controls, map requirements, and track gaps for audit preparation
- Experience preparing security documentation, security questionnaires, and compliance materials
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills in client-facing environments
- Pragmatic mindset with a focus on maintaining compliance standards while supporting delivery
