Canada Licensed Employment Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CaseSmart Counsel, Charges attorney with a minimum of 6 years of employment law experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend administrative agency charges and attorney demand letters from investigation through conclusion
• Draft position statements and respond to agency requests for information
• Represent clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of employment law experience, including drafting position statements and representing clients
• Familiarity with administrative agency charges at both federal and state levels
• Active bar license in the state of residence and called to the bar in any Canadian province, preferably Ontario
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
