Canadian Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Specialist with Canadian accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable within NetSuite, including invoicing and collections
• Maintain and reconcile subscription billing data and support revenue recognition in accordance with ASPE 3400 / IFRS 15
• Execute month-end and year-end close processes and support audit activities

Required Qualifications:

• Canadian accounting experience is a firm requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based environment
• Proficiency in NetSuite, particularly with Advanced Revenue Management
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Office 365 programs
