Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance efforts in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Canadian regulatory developments related to payments and fintech laws
  • Manage relationships with Canadian regulators and law enforcement, and oversee regulatory reporting processes
  • Develop and maintain AML/CTF programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience with a university degree, or at least 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Anti-Money Laundering, Risk Management, Compliance, or related areas
  • Familiarity with regulations related to payments networks and financial institutions
  • Proven ability to lead meetings and deliver presentations at all organizational levels
  • Experience in payments or banking sectors, with a strong understanding of associated risks
