Job Summary
A company is looking for a Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance efforts in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Canadian regulatory developments related to payments and fintech laws
- Manage relationships with Canadian regulators and law enforcement, and oversee regulatory reporting processes
- Develop and maintain AML/CTF programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with local requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience with a university degree, or at least 8 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Anti-Money Laundering, Risk Management, Compliance, or related areas
- Familiarity with regulations related to payments networks and financial institutions
- Proven ability to lead meetings and deliver presentations at all organizational levels
- Experience in payments or banking sectors, with a strong understanding of associated risks
