Job Summary

Supporting the Ottawa Charge's French-language communications, the part-time Canadian Licensed Translator will translate and localize content from English to French, including press releases and marketing materials, while collaborating with various teams across the League.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, adapt, and localize content from English to French for various communications and marketing initiatives
• Contribute to the Ottawa Charge's French-language content strategy and support bilingual communications
• Review and proofread French-language content for accuracy and adherence to brand standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Linguistics, or a related field
• Native-level proficiency in French and excellent command of English
• 2-5 years of professional experience in translation, communications, or content creation
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in French
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as required
