Cancer Network Research Executive

Job Summary

Leading the development of a national clinical trials network, the full-time Associate Vice President, Cancer Network Research will enhance research excellence by overseeing research administration and faculty integration while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and strategic alignment across the Cancer Network.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts due diligence assessments and ongoing evaluations of all Cancer Network sites to ensure research integrity and infrastructure
• Collaborates with clinical research leadership to facilitate clinical trial development and identify gaps in patient access to trials
• Guides strategic planning for clinical and translational research, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD in medicine
• Minimum of 10 years of academic and/or industry experience in cancer research and translational medicine
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills within a complex, multi-cultural organization
• International reputation in leadership and innovation in clinical research
• Experience in building and leading high-performance, matrixed teams
