Detail-oriented professionals will find a PRN remote opportunity as a Cancer Registrar, responsible for maintaining and analyzing cancer incidence data while preparing required reporting information for state cancer databases.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies and analyzes cancer patients' history, diagnosis, treatment, disease status, and survival data
- Prepares and submits required reporting information to the state cancer database
- Abstracts necessary cancer-related information into the electronic tumor registry system and coordinates long-term follow-up data collection
Required qualifications
- Associates degree in Applied Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Preferred ODS-C credential
