Capex Finance Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting capex controllership in a remote full-time capacity, the Capex Finance-Project Controls Analyst will manage day-to-day tracking, reconciliation, and reporting for project budgets, serving as a liaison between Finance and construction operations.

Key responsibilities

• Track cost-to-date against approved project budgets and flag variances for review
• Reconcile purchase order and purchase requisition activity against general ledger actuals on a recurring basis
• Support monthly capex reporting covering budget vs. commitments vs. actuals by project

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction management, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in project controls, construction finance, cost accounting, or FP&A
• Strong Excel skills, particularly in handling reconciliations and high-volume transaction data
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance and construction/operations stakeholders
• Detail-oriented and organized, with comfort in navigating ambiguity
