Capital Markets Associate

Job Summary

Focused on capital markets activities, the full-time Capital Markets Associate will manage capital raising, execution, and financial modeling to support Tax Equity and Debt funding processes while working remotely or from the Charlotte, NC HQ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Excel financial models for Tax Equity and Debt capital funding
• Lead the execution of funding processes with external stakeholders
• Report on Palmetto Finance activities to key financial stakeholders and enhance reporting automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience in banking or capital markets, with a preference for solar industry and structured finance experience
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of the macroeconomic landscape
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements across systems
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric environments
