Capital Markets Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Affairs function, the remote Counsel II, Capital Markets will manage legal aspects of financing transactions, draft and negotiate capital markets deal documents, and collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance the company's capitalization strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the capital markets team in developing a diversified network of capital sources and strategies
• Guide financing transactions from strategy discussions through deal execution, ensuring legal compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate various capital markets deal documents, including credit agreements and indentures

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant law-firm experience, with preferred in-house experience in a high-growth fintech environment
• JD degree from a well-regarded law school and membership in a US state bar
• Experience in structured and/or debt finance, including securitizations and asset-backed financing
• Strong business judgment and interpersonal skills for effective negotiations
• Proven ability to work as a key contributor in a high-performing team
