Capital Markets Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Capital Markets group remotely, the full-time Capital Markets Data Analyst will manage data analysis, SQL development, and reporting tasks while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of datasets that drive decision-making in capital markets.

Key responsibilities

• Write and improve complex T-SQL, investigate data discrepancies, and translate business questions into maintainable SQL and BI assets
• Maintain and monitor ETL processes and data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Build and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights on risk exposure, pipeline position, and P/L metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related data role
• Advanced SQL skills with the ability to independently improve existing SQL code
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in questioning data and validating results
• Working understanding of ETL principles and experience maintaining data pipelines
• Power BI development experience, including report and dashboard authoring
