Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Capital Markets to support its efforts in building a diversified capitalization strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the capital markets team in building out the company's network of capital sources and strategies
- Guide financing transactions from a legal perspective, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating deal documents
- Provide legal advice on lending and securities laws and regulations relating to capital markets transactions
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant law-firm experience, with additional in-house experience preferred
- JD degree from a well-regarded law school and membership in a US state bar
- Previous legal experience in structured and/or debt finance
- Excellent business judgment and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and a willingness to take ownership of projects
