Capital Markets Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Capital Markets to support its efforts in building a diversified capitalization strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the capital markets team in building out the company's network of capital sources and strategies
• Guide financing transactions from a legal perspective, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating deal documents
• Provide legal advice on lending and securities laws and regulations relating to capital markets transactions

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant law-firm experience, with additional in-house experience preferred
• JD degree from a well-regarded law school and membership in a US state bar
• Previous legal experience in structured and/or debt finance
• Excellent business judgment and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation and a willingness to take ownership of projects
