Capital Planning Estimator

Job Summary

To support capital project planning, the full-time remote Capital Planning Estimator will develop accurate project schedules and financial estimates, ensuring financial viability through cost modeling and risk assessment while collaborating with Project Managers during the delivery phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and project schedules for capital projects prior to governance approval
• Establish and maintain standardized estimation templates and tools for consistency across the capital planning portfolio
• Partner with Project Managers to prepare and defend budget requests and conduct variance analyses between estimated and actual costs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, cost management, or quantity surveying, preferably in commercial real estate
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in estimation software and financial modeling tools
• Demonstrated ability to analyze construction documents and extract relevant cost information
