Job Summary
Owning a portfolio of 3-5 states, the remote Capture Engineer will develop territory-specific strategies, build relationships with government stakeholders, and generate outbound materials while managing the full capture loop from initial engagement to close.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain territory capture plans, identifying target opportunities and political contexts for each state
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with state agency contacts and deliver value-additive insights
- Self-generate outbound materials and operate with an AI-first orientation in asset creation and strategy execution
Required qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in a client-facing, capture, business development, or territory management role in government technology
- Working knowledge of state government agency operations and federal compliance environments
- Demonstrated ability to engage with technical buyers on implementation approaches and technology modernization
- Track record of building relationships in a government procurement context and developing competitive win strategies
- Active user of AI tools for research, writing, and asset generation
