Capture Manager
Job Summary
Owning the strategy and competitive shaping of pursuits, the full-time remote Capture Manager will manage capture efforts from qualification through submission and award, while also contributing to proposal development as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Lead capture efforts by maintaining the Capture Deck and coordinating subcontractor engagement
- Validate win themes and competitive positioning during proposal development and participate in color team reviews
- Draft Management Volume content and contribute to Past Performance narratives tailored to specific opportunities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in capture management, business development, or proposal management within the federal contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and defend a win strategy and manage the full pursuit lifecycle
- Proficiency in proposal writing, specifically Management Volume and Past Performance content
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with various internal teams
- Experience with AI-assisted document writing and familiarity with CRM/pursuit-tracking tools
