Cardiac Device Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing cardiac remote monitoring program, the full-time Cardiac Device Specialist will manage the review of transmissions from Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs), educate patients, and coordinate care with clinical staff in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily alerts and transmissions from remote monitoring software for enrolled patients
• Document findings and communicate with clinical staff and physicians regarding patient care
• Provide patient education and support for remote monitoring of cardiac devices

Required qualifications

• International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification preferred; completion required within one year of hire
• Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) certification required prior to employment for those without IBHRE certification
• Strong knowledge of cardiac devices and experience with remote device transmissions from major manufacturers
• Proven ability to create comprehensive device transmission reports
• Experience in patient education and strong interpersonal skills
