Job Summary

A company is looking for a HB/Facility Cardiology Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and coding reflect clinical documentation
• Abstract clinical data post-documentation review to support diagnoses and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential in relevant coding specialties
• Two years of recent hands-on coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines
• Ability to consistently code at a 95% quality threshold
• Proficient in MS Office applications
