Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Pro Fee Coder III Cardiac Cath/EP.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and submit encounters related to evaluation & management, procedures, testing, and monitoring
• Maintain communication with clinic staff to ensure compliant coding and assist with workflow evaluations
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuing education activities to enhance coding knowledge

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional coding experience in Cardiology
• Active AAPC COC, CPC or AHIMA CCS certification at the time of hire
• Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers
• Recent experience in an active coding production environment preferred
• Ability to maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate and meet productivity standards
