Cardiology Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director in Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete evidence-based medical case reviews for patient care
• Conduct physician consultation calls to discuss medical necessity and appropriateness of requested services
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure evidence-based decision making for patient care

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. with a current, active, U.S. state medical license and board certified in Cardiology
• 5 years of relevant clinical experience post residency/fellowship
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws
• Ability to commit to a set, weekly work schedule
• Strong computer skills and ability to work autonomously with automated processes and systems
