Cardiology Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cardiology Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain clinical program guidelines
• Perform peer-to-peer conversations and act as a clinical liaison to providers and clients
• Coordinate with Utilization Management staff to ensure timely and accurate communication of clinical decisions

Required Qualifications:

• MD/DO/MBBS degree
• Minimum of five years' experience in Cardiology or Vascular Surgery
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements with at least two years of experience in a regulatory role
• Current, unrestricted license in one or more states
• Demonstrated leadership skills and analytic skills
