Cardiology Medical Reviewer

Job Summary

Providing medical expertise on cardiac safety concerns, the part-time Cardiology Medical Reviewer will conduct medical reviewing on a project basis, offering input throughout the development process and leading safety activities for assigned products remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical expertise on development-related cardiac safety concerns and conduct medical monitoring tasks
• Lead safety activities and serve as the primary medical reviewer for adverse event reports and clinical safety documents
• Contribute to the development and execution of study documents, ensuring compliance with global regulations and pharmacovigilance practices

Required qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) required
• Specialty in Cardiology or comparable experience in Cardiology
• 5 or more years of clinical and/or research experience required
• Relevant experience in medical monitoring and/or as a medical reviewer in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of current regulatory practices and domestic and international regulations
