Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - RI/CT Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, the full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - RI/CT Licensed will conduct patient assessments, formulate treatment plans, and manage chronic cardiovascular conditions remotely while collaborating with healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments via telehealth visits to evaluate cardiovascular health
• Formulate differential diagnoses and develop treatment plans for various cardiac issues
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular diseases, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications

Required qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in cardiology or a related field
• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Rhode Island, Connecticut, or both states
• 3+ years of experience as a nurse practitioner in an outpatient cardiology setting
• Certification in ACLS is often required or highly recommended
• Proficiency in performing comprehensive cardiac assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests
