Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cardiovascular Medical Coder - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve denied medical claims due to coding errors
• Analyze denial reasons and manage appeals while collaborating with various departments
• Assign accurate codes and maintain a minimum accuracy rate of 98% while meeting productivity standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular professional coding
• Certified CCS (AHIMA) or CPC, COC, CCC, CIRCC (AAPC)
• Extensive knowledge of E&M coding and cardiovascular procedure code sets
• Basic computer skills with the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
