Job Summary
Care Access Coordinator is a full-time, non-clinical support role that ensures efficient access to behavioral health services through administrative tasks, customer support, and coordination among members, providers, and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process authorizations, manage documentation, and support clinical operations to ensure workflow efficiency
- Serve as a frontline resource for member and provider inquiries, ensuring compliance with HIPAA
- Triage cases and share key data to support continuity of care and collaboration among clinical teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related healthcare field with 1+ year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check upon hire and throughout employment
- Experience in a health care, managed care, or behavioral health setting
- Professional demeanor and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
