Job Summary
To support efficient access to behavioral health services, the part-time Care Access Coordinator will manage administrative tasks, provide member and provider support, and coordinate care while working remotely during evenings from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM CST.
Key responsibilities
- Process authorizations, enter and audit data, and manage documentation to ensure workflow efficiency
- Serve as a frontline resource for benefit, authorization, and referral inquiries while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Triage cases and route them to clinical teams, ensuring accurate information flow for care decisions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related healthcare field plus 1+ year of relevant experience, or a high school diploma plus 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously during live member interactions
- U.S. Citizenship for at least 5 years and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- High-speed internet service with specified minimum requirements for remote work
