Job Summary
Serving as the first point of contact for patients, the full-time Care Access Representative will assist with patient registration, schedule outpatient appointments, and ensure accurate patient information while working remotely in a busy, high call volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures excellent customer service by maintaining a caring and professional demeanor in all interactions
- Verifies and updates key patient information to ensure safety and accuracy in scheduling and billing processes
- Schedules new and follow-up patient appointments and actively participates in departmental quality assurance efforts
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of customer service and/or clerical experience
- Experience with patient scheduling workflows, preferably in Epic
- Ability to handle high call volumes effectively
- Self-motivated team player with positive communication skills
