Care Access Representative

Job Summary

To support the Endocrinology & Diabetes team, the full-time Care Access Representative will manage patient registration processes, schedule outpatient appointments, and ensure accurate patient information in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in a busy call environment
• Verify and update key patient information, ensuring accuracy for safety and billing processes
• Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; higher-level degree may be acceptable
• One year of customer service and/or clerical experience
• Experience with scheduling, EPIC, and medical terminology is strongly preferred
• Technical ability to manage phone systems and patient information
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
