Job Summary
Engaging with members to enhance their healthcare experience, the remote Care Advocate will proactively consult and coordinate care, ensuring optimal support for patients and their caregivers throughout the orthopedic healthcare continuum.
Key responsibilities
- Learn and adapt the outreach model to meet evolving patient interactions and business needs
- Conduct outreach to educate eligible patients on the program's value and facilitate their enrollment
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to personalize patient messaging and address barriers effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare
- 3+ years of experience in sales, direct marketing, or customer service within the healthcare industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Experience with Medicare populations and a basic understanding of Medicare Health Plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology
