Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Advocate Hourly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and track patient care, acting as a liaison between the organization and third-party payers
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the Utilization Review department and assist new care advocates
  • Provide communication and customer service to all stakeholders, including patients, families, and clinical teams
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Behavioral Science is preferred
  • Two (2) years previous work experience in an office or hospital setting preferred
  • Knowledge of managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare
  • Utilization review experience in a hospital, outpatient, or managed care setting preferred
  • Computer skills required, including word processing and data processing
